We love coffee, good food & nice people. We focus on regional fresh food and do all our cakes by our self with vegan & gluten-free options
The best coffe of Cologne
I was there with my brother and two of my nieces. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, who answered our more specific questions directly and competently. Both the drinks and my crepe were prepared quickly and were delicious - the coffee e.g. B. also in both the cow and oat milk variant. It's probably hard to find an even smaller café in Cologne, but that's also what makes up a large part of the charm. A little tip - if you are sitting at a table with small drawers, take a look - there are some greetings from previous visitors on napkins - a kind of analogue Google reviews ;-)
Very cute café with very friendly, courteous staff. The coffee tastes great and there is a great selection of vegan cakes / snacks 😊
Beautiful café with a great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Great place for vegans. Staff is always nice and helpful.
Great cake, great coffee, super delicious food and nice people. What more do you want.
Nice atmosphere, nice service and the vegan apple pie is awesome! Really a cozy place. Would recommend the flat white with oat milk.
I love this place! It's very cosy. You get a animal toy with you and that is your 'table' number. Amazing. We had a horse. We eat the pancakes with sugar and cinnamon en a vegan chocolate pie. Staff is very friendly.
Cute little café with a delicious galette. The coffee came quickly, but we had to wait a little longer before we could order the food because we were apparently forgotten something. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely justified. I would love to come back.
Delicious vegan raw cake. And the Iced Cafe Latte with oatdink was extremely tasty too! The interior is very cozy and not as "clean" as it is now in many shops. I'll be back the next time I visit Cologne 😊
Perfect place for a brunch. Beautiful terrace and good food is all you get here.
Very nice, cozy cafe with very friendly service. The guest really feels very welcome. Highly Recommended.
It was our first time for breakfast at Hommage. It was all very tasty and fresh. The avocado bread and the pancakes are highly recommended. The coffee and orange juice were also very good. You can't really say anything about the price and you will definitely be very well satisfied after a visit.
We were visiting cologne and thought that it would be nice to visit a cafe for breakfast on a sunday morning. Did some googling and found this quaint cafe with very good reviews. So we were so excited to try them. I'm not very sure if we cought them on a bad day, but my experience at this cafe was not as good. The cafe has an undeniably nice atmosphere but the food portion were quite small and the wait... Gosh we literally waited 50 mins for the food to come. The table next to ours actually left because the waitress accidentally left one of the orders - and I don't think thay can stand waiting for another 50 mins. The food was nice, it tasted alright but is it worth going through the waiting game is another story. I hope the cafe is looking at a way to improve this in the future.
After waiting 50 minutes for two avocado breads (even though the shop wasn't full) The wrong crêpes came too. It's a shame you actually have a great concept. We were so disappointed that we won't come again.
The cafe is hipster and cute, but the rest of our experience was disappointing. The food is presented in a fancy way but taste is bland and nothing special, the cutlery was not clean. Ordering was extremely frustrating and confusing - their menu is only available in one cramped counter where you feel hurried to order. Throughout this confusing process, the staff were constantly snarky and unhelpful. Did not feel welcome at all.
Hommage offers delicious breakfast, juices and hot drinks and are knowledgeable and hospitable in advising with allergens. The Vegan Glutenfree buckwheat banana pancakes are absolutely lovely!
Great little spot! Cozy, informal and alternative. Perfect for a vegan breakfast or lunch. Wonderful coffee!
The coffee they serve is just amazing! The breakfast menu is nice and the dishes are very creatively done. No wonder this place is so popular. The owner is very friendly and they also accept payment through PayPal.
Super cozy little mini shop, which also offers several tables outside in the courtyard. Delicious coffee and the avocado bread are highly recommended! Or the freshly prepared fruit juices and and and. The best thing is to go and try to get a seat!
Today we visited this coffeebar. The first thing we noticed was the nice atmosphere! After that we wanted to sit at the table, but we needed to order first. We felt a little pressure there to order instead of having a moment to order. We loved the idea of getting a small toy instead of a table number. We had some pancakes, two cappuccino’s, scrambled eggs with avocado and an orange juice with ginger. We loved the coffee and the food!! Highly recommend this place! (Only one thing for the owner, please fix a menu card!!) greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
The food is very good! Avocado bread is recommended and cheap. The orange juice is fresh and tastes extremely good! In addition, the service is courteous and friendly. We only had to wait a little longer, which is not bad as it is Saturday and busy. The place is very nice and well located. You can sit inside and outside.
Very good service, great selection of vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and desserts. The outside area was very cozy. The galettes with sheep's cheese and honey are also highly recommended.
Sweet café but the organization is not right here. The waiters were busy trying to find the right table first. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food (1h) - even then there were only 2 out of 3 dishes. In the end we left without getting the third meal, despite asking several times. The food we got was unfortunately not convincing.
bad service. Wanted to call to complain about it but I could not find their phone number anywhere on their website, so I'll post in here. If you read this : its nice having a hipsterich look website but you'd rather focus on than making it efficient...
I love this place but it's literally always packed. I guess that's a part of the charm
Very tasty breakfast, it was relatively full but after a curve, you got a seat waiting. Staff was very friendly. The shop creative and the food great!
Looooooong wait for food - avoid if busy Waited for our food order for half an hour with no drinks. After being ignored and chasing staff were finally told there was at least another half hour to wait. Advice = tell people up front if there is a long wait. Respect people’s time
Great coffee and the baristas were very kind 💫
I ordered Chai latte and cake the worst i had in my life, cake was very dry and old I think they had in the freeze for weeks. For go to the toilet you need to across the street, is in another place. I would never go back there.
Best Pancakes & Coffee EVER! My favorite breakfast spot in Cologne! I have just had my 50th Pancakeversary breakfast with my community there (Thanks Hommage Crew <3). All the other breakfast options are awesome as well: try the Bircher Muesli (Oatmeal) or the avocado bread too. The place is cozy, the crew is super friendly and always accomodating, the place has such a chill atmosphere to hang out an have breakfast - I don't want to be any place else in the morning. Workers were nice but I ordered a crepe with cheese and walnuts and the crepe was full of walnut shell bits which obviously was not nice to eat. I showed the shell bits to the waiter and he said he would warn the cooker but that was basically it. "In response to your answer below since it looks like I can't answer directly to your message: Clearly your have mistaken me with another person, so I was not the only one eating walnut shells. I would have totally leave a good review if you had act with me like that. I leave the one above since nothing was done, nothing was offered neither a discount or anything of the sort. And definitely I didn't get any other cake from you since I am celiac, I went to this coffee for the gluten-free crepe (which had other name that I don't remember). So you had that experience with other person. If I left 2 stars is because I still think that the staff members there were nice, but I consider they could have done more.
For sure deserves a visit! The girls easily make you feel welcome, very open to explain their menu in English. Looks a little bit chaotic and the semi open kitchen is a bit confusing, but that's part of the atmosphere. The food is fresh, tasty and matches the final bill.
They have an adorable concept where each table gets a little rubber animal assigned to it that symbolises the bill. Very cute if a bit on the pricey side.
Friendly and tasty.
Nice charming little place, with homemade tasty galettes and cakes. Not fancy at all, cosy and cute. The raw-vegan cakes are yummy!
Nice place to have brunch
It ’s not too conspicuous. I walked past an easy-to-miss shop, but when the door was opened, there was no hole. The door opened my Chinese food and the time was different. The store's furnishings and table and chair choices are full of styles, which are different from the occasions of ordinary coffee cakes. Although the clerk was very kiang and didn't know what kind of cake was on the shelf, and didn't accept any cards except cash, it didn't matter. Everything was cluelessly smoothed out after the entrance of the vegetable milk latte and the large cake. It only accepts cash and no toilet, so you don't have to stay long, and carry the animals to pay before leaving.
Excellent coffee. Very good service and fast.
Loved it! Quality was great. My only complaint is that the sitting space is a little tight and uncomfortable.
Great cafe! Very good coffee and hot chocolate, affordable prices (flat white 3.20 & hot chocolate 2.50). However, avocado toast for €3 was not enough for me :( but it was delicious!
Not 5 stars cause the place needs a bit more attention in cleanliness
Lovely food, friendly staff, great coffee!
Beautiful
Cute little cafe a bit off the beaten track. Nice gluten free option and great English speaking service.
Nice little cafe with good coffee, cake and staff.
Amazing!!!
a charming and lovely Café! They serve nice vegetarian food. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommend! It’s just a pity that there is no WC/ toilet, but the restaurant across the street is helpful!
One of the best places for having breakfast kn Cologne. Highly recommended. Here there is not much space for sitting. I don’t recommend for large groups. It is a very small place but the food is exemplary. Gives you a very special feeling.
Cozy surroundings and great coffee. Popped in here for a break and was able to relax and enjoy a tasty snack.
Nice little cosy place for a quick coffee. Unfortunately they do not accept card payments yet.
